Ghaziabad, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). Mahant Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati of Dasna Devi Temple made a big revelation on Wednesday after reaching the temple before Diwali. He has issued a statement saying that he was under arrest since October 4 after the controversial statement given on September 29. He has said that after keeping him in Ghaziabad for two days, the police took him to a hotel in Uttarakhand, where he was kept locked in a room, two policemen were stationed outside the room.
On Tuesday evening, I was taken out of that room and dropped at the border of Uttar Pradesh. After that he reached Dasna temple at around 1.30 in the night.
Yeti Narasimhanand says that he was detained from Bamheta. He told that on the night of October 4, he was staying at the house of councilor Pramosh Yadav in Bamheta village. The police reached there and took them with them to the police line. After two days from the police line, the police took him to Uttarakhand and kept him in a hotel room. Two UP Police personnel were stationed outside my room and my mobile was also in their possession. However, I used to get the phone for a limited period of time to make personal calls.
Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand says that the police has asked him to remain silent for a few days. Mahant told that I was thrown out of that hotel on Tuesday evening. After keeping me in a room in jail-like conditions for 26 days, the police released me at the Uttar Pradesh border, from where I contacted some of my servants and with their help reached Dasna temple late at night. However, Ghaziabad Police has been refusing to take Mahant into custody.
