There are chances of heavy rain in Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, Lohardaga, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan as well as in the districts of north-eastern and central parts of the state. During this period, warnings have also been issued about thunderstorms and lightning at some places, in view of which the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to stay in safe places during bad weather and not take shelter under trees.
