Yamunanagar: Government is not farmer friendly, will protest on November 7: Subhash Gurjar

Yamunanagar, 4 November (Hindustan Reporter). District President of Bharatiya Kisan Union, Subhash Gurjar said that the farmer will always struggle to save his breed and crop. Farmers are not getting DAP fertilizer today. False cases are being made against farmers regarding stubble. Farmers are not getting the price of cumin at Rs 3100 per quintal. He said that the Kisan United Front will hold a big demonstration at the Mini Secretariat on November 7, demanding action against the misbehavior and heckling of farmers by the police at the Mini Secretariat on October 29.

On Monday, a meeting of the District Executive of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait) was held in the rest house of Public Works Department of Jagadhri under the chairmanship of District President Subhash Gurjar. Talking to journalists, District President Subhash Gurjar said that during the protest organized by the farmers at the Mini Secretariat on October 29 regarding their demands, the police had misbehaved and pushed the farmers. In protest against this, a big demonstration will be held on November 7 regarding action against police officers. In which State President Ratanman will also be included.

He said that this government is not farmer friendly. Chief Minister Naib Saini had announced to buy Jeeri at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal but that price is not being given. The seeds of farmers are still lying in the markets. At the same time, false cases are being made against farmers for burning stubble. Farmers are not getting DAP fertilizer.
