Yamuna Nagar, August 12 (HS). On behalf of Haryana Dental Association, all the dentists of the district submitted a memorandum in the name of Haryana Government to Dr. Manjit Singh, Civil Surgeon, Yamuna Nagar, regarding their demands.
On Monday, Dr Bulbul, District President of Haryana Government Dental Association said that it has been more than 16 years since our legitimate demands were pending but no solution has been found by the state government.
He said that various protest programmes will be organised every day to resolve their pending demands. Today, dentists have expressed their anger by wearing black badges. On 13th August, a memorandum will be submitted to the Chief Minister through the District Deputy Commissioner.
He said that all the dentists will go on a pen down strike on 14th August from 10 am to 12 noon. Apart from this, they will work hungry after their duty on 16th August. On 17th August at 6 pm, all the dentists from across the state will express their anger by taking out a candle march from Sector 4 Community Center in Kurukshetra to the Chief Minister's residence office in Sector 3.
He said that on 19th and 21st August, after their duties, everyone will submit a memorandum to the MPs and MLAs in their respective districts regarding their demands. On 22nd August, everyone will go on a collective strike. Dr. Bulbul said that memorandums were given to the government earlier also regarding our pending demands but the government did not resolve them. He warned that if our demands are not resolved soon, we will be forced to go on an indefinite strike. A large number of dentists of the district were present on this occasion.
