New Delhi, March 15 (HS). Thanks to a brilliant half-century by Ellyse Perry (66), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have set a target of 136 runs for Mumbai Indians in the eliminator match of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024. RCB scored 135 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Sophie Devine and Smriti Mandhana gave a fast start to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and added 14 runs in the very first over. Especially Divine hit three fours in the very first over. However, after this RCB's innings faltered and three wickets fell in the next three overs. In the second over, Hayley Mathews gave the first blow to RCB by bowling Divine (10), after this, in the third over, Nat Sciver Brunt gave the second blow to RCB by bowling Mandhana (10). In the fourth over, Saika Ishaq got Disha Kasat (0) caught by Pooja Vastrakar. RCB team, which scored 14 runs in the first over, could score only 10 runs in the next three overs.
