This government hospital was built 15 years ago. Now the situation is such that thieves have stolen the windows, frames, doors, grills, gates, shelves, electric wires and other equipment of the hospital. The hospital has now become a den of anti-social elements. Three buildings for the residence of health workers and one building for the testing center were constructed in the premises of this 30-bed hospital. But all three buildings are in ruins today.
A committee was formed to investigate
Villager Sudhir Kumar said, 'This is a flood-affected area. The population here is around 1 lakh. When this hospital was being built, seeing its grandeur, the people around hoped that now they would not have to go to the city 50 kilometers away for better treatment. But even after being built so grandly, this hospital has not been able to start. There is a lot of forest around the hospital. The villagers are afraid to come here.'
At present, the District Magistrate has constituted a team to investigate the matter. The Civil Surgeon and other officers are investigating at their level. More information will be revealed only after the investigation.
