On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, a workshop on the topic 'Mental Health at Work' was organized in the Department of Psychology at Patanjali University on Thursday. On this occasion, speakers said that yoga and meditation are beneficial for physical and mental health.
On this occasion, special guest Dr. Jayan Namboodiri, CEO and Director Mindcraft, Brand Ambassador EQ4Peace Worldwide, discussed the issues like anxiety, depression and mental pressure of modern life and explained how yoga and mindfulness can be helpful in dealing with these challenges. .
Pro Vice Chancellor Mayank Aggarwal said that there is a need to openly discuss the topic of mental health all over the world. We can also keep our mental consciousness healthy through Ashtanga Yoga.
In the lecture, Vice Chancellor of Patanjali University, Swami Arshadev said that Patanjali University is setting an example by combining the ancient traditions of Yoga with modern mental health solutions. Such efforts play an important role in building a mentally healthy society.
On this occasion, Dr. Om Narayan Tiwari, Dean of the Faculty of Yoga Science, said that Yoga is such a discipline whose knowledge and practicality makes life ideal.
