Former Indian team coach Anshuman Gaikwad is battling cancer these days. Seeing him in this condition, former World Cup winning captain of Team India Kapil Dev has expressed concern. Some former players of the Indian team are also now trying their best to help Anshuman Gaikwad. The former captain of Team India has appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to help the former Indian coach.
The former captain himself explained this
Captain Kapil Dev, who made Team India the ODI World Cup champion in 1983, talked about the situation of former Indian coach Anshuman on Star Sports and said, “I have played with Anshu and am sad and disappointed to see him in this. No one should have to suffer so much. I know the board will help him. We do not put pressure on anyone to help him but we have to help him wholeheartedly. He has also suffered some injuries, now the time has come for Anshu to stand up and help him. I know that the fans will also not disappoint him.
Sandeep Patil gave the news of cancer
Earlier this month, former Team India cricketers had given the news of Anshuman's blood cancer.
