World Cup final pitch again in controversy, veteran player made serious allegations against Rohit-Dravid

India had to face defeat from Australia in the final match of ICC World Cup 2023. Before the final, India had not lost a single match in this tournament, but India had to face defeat in the final. There is often controversy on this. Poor pitching is being blamed for India's defeat. Now former Indian legend Mohammad Kaif has blamed Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for India's defeat in the World Cup 2023 final. The player has also made many allegations against both of them.

'The pitch was made very slow'

During an interview, Mohammad Kaif made many shocking revelations regarding the World Cup 2023 final. With this clarification of the player, the controversy regarding the pitch of the World Cup final has once again increased. Apart from this, he has also made many serious allegations against Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and Team India coach Rahul Dravid and has held both of them responsible for the defeat. Mohammad Kaif said that the Ahmedabad pitch was made very slow. Before the final match, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid used to come to the pitch for several days and watch the condition of the pitch for hours.

The pitch was made under the supervision of the captain and coach

Kaif said that the captain and coach used to come and ask to pour less water on the pitch. He also asked to keep less grass on the pitch. Both were trying to take full advantage of their respective home pitches and were hurting India in the process. We should not do so much for our benefit that we cause harm to ourselves. Kaif further said that if the pitch had been normal, India would have had the final trophy by now. No matter how much people say that the curator is doing his work, we do not stop him, but this is nonsense. The truth is that we give them orders and make pitches.

India would have benefited from a flat pitch

All the Indian bowlers were in excellent form. From Mohammed Shami to Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav to Ravindra Jadeja, everyone was in form. He made the team happy with his performance throughout the World Cup. If the Indian bowlers had got a flat pitch in the final also, the performance of the bowlers would have been better and India could have won easily.
