Haridwar, July 15 (HS). A 3-day workshop of health workers was completed to complete the health indices identified under the Sampoornata Abhiyan run by the Government of India by 30 September. The workshop was organized with the cooperation of Chief Medical Officer of Aspiring Block-Bahadrabad Dr. Subodh Kant Joshi, District Coordinator Shalini Chauhan, Block Coordinator Sangeeta Chauhan, Munesh Chauhan, Field Supervisor Rahul Kumar and the team of Piramal Foundation.
The identified health indicators include registration of pregnant women in the first trimester, screening of all persons above the age of 30 years for diabetes and hypertension. At the end of the workshop, all the participants resolved that we will fulfill 100% of the indicators identified by Niti Aayog and expand health services in the district by organizing village visits, convergence, help of influential persons of villages in the program, establishing mutual coordination, and organizing more health camps. The team of Piramal Foundation played an important role in making the workshop a success with its support and resources. They provided necessary training to the health workers so that they can complete their work effectively.
