Ranchi, 17 February (HS). The work on the bungalows of 11 ministers being built in the ADB area of Ranchi Smart City has been completed. Due to non-release of funds of about Rs 37 crore, the work of interior finishing is stalled. JUDCO said that after the approval of this amount, the incomplete works will be completed. After this the cabinet will allot these bungalows to the ministers. It is expected that JUDCO will hand over this bungalow to the cabinet by the end of April or May.
Bungalows were being built for 11 cabinet ministers for Rs 69.90 crore but now the estimated cost of construction has reached Rs 114.47 crore. Many facilities including modular kitchen and lift have been increased in ministerial bungalows, due to which the expenditure has increased. This has been approved in the Champai Soren cabinet meeting held on February 12.
Modern amenities have been taken care of in the ministerial bungalows being built under the direction of JUDCO. The bungalows have two bedrooms on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first floor. Apart from this, there are many rooms including a big drawing room, dining room and minister room. The bungalows also have smart kitchens, where food will be prepared in modular and smart kitchens. The entire bungalow has been constructed in such a way that the facilities of the ministers' families as well as their office staff have been taken care of. The special thing is that all these 11 bungalows are in a row in the smart city. In such a situation, one can meet all the 11 ministers by entering the campus.
