When a woman in Quebec province of Canada opened the wooden box of her father after his death, there was a stir. The thing was that something came out of this box that an army contingent had to be called immediately. The details of this incident are that the father of Cadrin Sims Brochman, a woman from Quebec, died last October. Then one day when Kadrin was cleaning the house, she noticed a wooden box belonging to her father.
Kadrin thought that the box might contain things related to his father, but as soon as he opened the box, he got a shock because it contained a grenade and it had also been activated. So he immediately informed the police.
However, the police officer also did not understand the need to handle this grenade and called the army squad. Even the army soldiers were surprised to see the live grenade because this grenade was 30 years old. However, they were caught by surprise as the grenades were activated. If the safety pin of this grenade was removed or accidentally dislodged, there was every possibility of explosion. After this the army team took the grenade with them.
Cadrin said, 'My father Frank brought this grenade from my grandfather's house probably 30 years ago. At that time the family convinced him to throw the grenade. Then we did not see the grenade in the house. So we assumed that he might have disposed of the grenade but he kept it in a wooden box. After that we changed houses several times. A wooden box was also taken, but during this time there was no idea that this box would contain such a dangerous thing. This grenade could pose a threat to our lives because it was in the house for so many years.
