Women power should pledge to celebrate her birthday every year by planting trees: Nimbaram | News India

Jaipur, September 4 (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Kshetra Pracharak Nimbaram said that we should not plant trees only for photos. We should be concerned and determined to ensure that the trees planted today remain alive. Women should pledge today to plant at least one tree in their name in front of their houses and nurture it and celebrate its birthday every year. Nimbaram was speaking while addressing the intensive tree plantation program organized by women power in Pragya Sagar Garden located in Pratap Nagar Sector 7 under Amrita Devi Prakriti Sanvardhan Abhiyan on Wednesday.

Nimbaram said that the country gives us everything, we should also learn to give to the country. If we keep taking and there is no effort towards giving, how long will this continue? One day a catastrophe is bound to come. Wayanad is a direct recent example of this. He said that there is a great concern about the environment in the whole country and the world. In the last 20 years, forests have been reduced by cutting them, which is definitely a disturbing issue. By planting trees, this scenario has to be changed in which we all need an active role, especially the women power present here is important. Anyway, today Amrita Devi is a symbol of environment. Today Amrita Devi is a source of inspiration for the people working towards the protection and promotion of the environment. Similarly, the women power present here can do the work of taking this work forward in a better way by planting dense trees in their respective areas and they are doing this at many places in the country. Here too, there is definitely a need for the women power to do this. On this occasion, while highlighting the importance of trees and environment, he remembered the sacrifice of 363 women including Amrita Devi for the protection of trees. Along with this, light was also thrown on the scientific importance of Tulsi, Peepal etc. plants. On this occasion, the chief guest was social worker Suman Shekhawat. She also spoke about the important role of women power in protecting and enhancing the environment and about their active responsibility.

After the stage program, the regional pracharak Nimbaram started the tree plantation work by planting a tree. After this, hundreds of women present there took a pledge to plant 1000 trees in a single day and nurture them.
