We should be concerned and determined to ensure that the trees planted today remain alive. Women should pledge today to plant at least one tree in their name in front of their houses and nurture it and celebrate its birthday every year. Nimbaram was speaking while addressing the intensive tree plantation program organized by women power in Pragya Sagar Garden located in Pratap Nagar Sector 7 under Amrita Devi Prakriti Sanvardhan Abhiyan on Wednesday.
Nimbaram said that the country gives us everything, we should also learn to give to the country. If we keep taking and there is no effort towards giving, how long will this continue? In the last 20 years, forests have been reduced by cutting them, which is definitely a disturbing issue.
