Women power is leading more than 50 percent of the startups in the state: Chief Minister

Lucknow, 11 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the people of the state on Shardiya Navratri. He said that the double engine government is working by imbibing the spirit of ‘Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devtaah’. Our government has given a new direction to women’s safety, respect and self-reliance, as a result of which more than 50 percent of the startups in the state are led by women power.

Uttar Pradesh became a festival state from disturbance
The Chief Minister said through his social media account ‘X’ that under the successful guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double engine government of the state has transformed Uttar Pradesh from a nuisance state to a festival state and has given a new direction to women’s safety, respect and self-reliance.

Daughters are giving new impetus to the state’s economy
CM said that before 2017, the daughters for whom even crossing the threshold of the house was a challenge, today the same daughters are giving new impetus to the economy of the state by working in night shifts. Today, women power is leading more than 50 percent of the startups in the state. The increase in female workforce participation from 12 percent to more than 36 percent is a clear evidence of the increasing confidence and expanding opportunities of women in the state.

Schemes are opening new avenues of education, security, mobility and self-reliance.
The Chief Minister said that from the health of mother power to the bright future of daughters, the welfare schemes of the double engine government are continuously providing new strength to women empowerment. The health and nutrition of mothers and infants has been strengthened by the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Nutrition Campaign. Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana are providing financial security to the future of daughters. At the same time, initiatives like Mission Shakti, Operation Kayakalp, Kasturba Balika Vidyalaya, Safe City, Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme and Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar Working Women Hostel are opening new avenues for their education, security, mobility and self-reliance.
