Raipur, March 14 (HS). Self. A discussion on the challenges of women journalists and felicitation of women journalists was organized at Madhukar Kher Smriti Bhawan, Raipur Press Club on Thursday.
Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, wife of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, participated in the program as the chief guest. The program was presided over by senior journalist Mrs. Asha Shukla. Mrs. Priyanka Kaushal, Mrs. Renu Nandi, Mrs. Sarita Dubey, Mrs. Bhavna Jha and Ms. Mamta Lanjewar gave their statements as speakers in the program.
All the speakers emphasized that a woman is addressed separately as a female journalist whereas she should only be highlighted as a journalist. Challenges arise where we have to struggle for our own identity, but in the present times, women journalists are accepting every challenge and making a better contribution in the field of journalism.
Among the women journalists, the chief guest, Mrs. Kaushalya Sai talked about accepting the challenges and making them easier. On the experiences and challenges of the women journalists, she said that we have to accept the challenges of the field we have chosen and we have to come forward for ourselves. Will have to work.
Women journalists were also honored in the program organized at Raipur Press Club.
