Haridwar, 07 July (HS). The women doctors of the city gave the message of environmental protection by planting trees at Govind Ghat on Sunday. The women doctors planted trees of species like mango, guava, jamun, peepal and neem etc.
On this occasion, Dr. Sandhya Sharma, President of Federation of Obstructive and Gynecological Society said that trees are the lifeline of life. Their conservation and promotion is necessary. To balance the constantly deteriorating environment, their conservation after plantation is very important. She said that plantation increases natural beauty and plants play an important role in balancing the environment by becoming trees.
BHEL Hospital CMO Dr. Sharda Swaroop, Dr. Deepa Sharma, Dr. Neeta Mehra, Dr. Manpreet Kaur said that trees are indispensable for life on earth. Trees provide oxygen, fruits and air and contribute significantly to environmental balance.
