City MLA Ratnakar Mishra said these things on the occasion of inauguration of Nari Shakti, Nari Bandan exhibition in Vindhyachal Roadways complex.
City MLA and District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan inaugurated the exhibition organized by the Information Broadcasting Department by cutting the ribbon on Wednesday. The city MLA said that women power has been revered in Indian culture since time immemorial. The government has implemented many schemes to uplift women power and make them self-reliant. Various programs are being run for women empowerment.
District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan said that schemes have been implemented by the government to make women power self-reliant and to protect them. To ensure that its benefits reach them, the government is reaching out to them in various ways.
