Varanasi, March 13 (HS). As part of the outreach program for the deprived sections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched the virtual Prime Minister Social Upliftment and Employment-based Public Welfare (PM Suraj) portal. This program was telecast live online in Varanasi Commissioner Auditorium. State Governor Anandiben Patel also participated in it. On this occasion, the Governor said that this program will prove to be a boon for the poor and the deprived. The poor work hard every day to earn their living. To raise their standard of living, bring positive changes and provide them facilities, the central and state governments are running many welfare schemes.
The Governor said that the poor are getting the benefits of Ayushman Card Scheme in medical facilities. The government is providing facilities in making Ayushman card. Due to which people's health card is being made easily. He said that on one hand the government is providing the benefits of Ayushman Yojana for the treatment of diseases, on the other hand, due to the Prime Minister's cleanliness campaign, the environment of urban and rural areas has been made clean and tidy.
The Governor said that Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes should give up all kinds of inferiority complex and move forward. Give good education to your children. He said that now our women are also becoming millionaires today on the basis of their hard work. The women of the group are becoming financially strong through collective efforts.
In the program, State AYUSH Minister Dr. Dayashankar Mishra 'Dayalu' said that due to the efforts of the Central and State Government, the living standard of 25 crore people has risen above poverty. The government has made most of the schemes for the welfare of farmers and the poor. Crores of people are getting the benefits of PM Swanidhi Yojana.
The program was also addressed by District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya, BJP District President and Legislative Council member Hansraj Vishwakarma, MLA T Ram, MLA Saurabh Srivastava. In the program, Governor Anandiben Patel gave checks to the identified beneficiaries who received loans under various schemes, certificates to the trainees of PM Daksh Yojana, Ayushman Health Cards to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana and PPE kits to the sanitation workers.
In the program, Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal welcomed the Governor and other guests, District Magistrate S. Rajalingam proposed the vote of thanks. Mayor Ashok Tiwari, MLA Rohania Sunil Patel etc. were also present in the program.
