Woman crushed by Punjab Roadways bus, legs broken

Una, 17 April (Hindus). A woman walking on foot was badly crushed by a Punjab Roadways bus in the ISBT Una campus. The woman has been referred to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition. It is being told that the woman's legs are badly fractured. The police have registered a case against the bus driver in this regard and started investigation.

According to the information, Parvati's wife Harjeet Singh, resident of Basal, had reached Una bus stand at 7.15 am on Wednesday morning in connection with some work. When the woman was standing near the entry gate of the bus stand, Punjab Roadways bus PB65AT2916 came. As soon as the bus driver entered ISBT, the woman was hit by the bus and the woman was badly crushed after coming under the bus.

After this, when people nearby raised an alarm, the driver stopped the bus and with the help of other people, the woman was taken out from under the bus. After this, bus driver Manohar Lal, resident of Volebal district, Ropar, with the help of other people, took the woman to Una regional hospital through ambulance. Where the doctors gave first aid to the woman and referred her to PGI, Chandigarh.
