Badaun, 06 April (Hindustan Reporter) On Saturday, a woman and a 12-year-old child died during treatment at a private doctor in different police station areas in the district. After the death of the child and the woman, the family members have accused the doctor of negligence and wrong treatment. Police have started investigation in both the cases.
The first incident took place in Deyori village of Dataganj Kotwali area. Ashok, a resident of this place, had taken his 12-year-old son Anmol to a private doctor when his health deteriorated. The doctor gave medicine to Anmol and also gave him injection. Due to which Anmol's health deteriorated further. Within no time Anmol died. After this, the family members created a ruckus accusing the doctor of negligence and informed the police and demanded action. The police reached the spot and started investigation in the matter.
The second incident took place in Mahanagar village of Ughaiti police station area. Veeresh, who lives here, had taken his mother Premvati to a private doctor to get medicine for fever. At the shop, the doctor gave Premwati an injection. As soon as the injection was given, Premwati started feeling cold and fell on the ground. Before the doctors and family members could understand anything, Premvati died. After this, the doctor ran away from the spot and the police reached the spot on receiving information about the commotion, took possession of the body and started investigation.
Giving information, Police Station President Rajesh Kaushik said that action is being taken by registering an FIR against the accused doctor on behalf of the victim's family.
