Bahraich: A case of terror of an animal called wolf has come to light in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Wolves have attacked many people here. The fear of wolves has spread so much that people are even hesitant to go out at night. So far, a total of 10 people, including nine children, have died in wolf attacks in this area. While many people have been injured. Attacks increase in this area especially during the monsoon season.
A case of terror of wolves has come to light in 35 villages of Mahsi taluka of Bahraich district. In which a total of 10 people have lost their lives while more than 50 people have been injured. The forest department has divided this area into three sectors and one reserve sector. Sector wise in-charges have also been appointed in which, along with the safety of the people, the responsibility of catching these wolves has also been given. Apart from this, 200 policemen have also been deployed for the safety of the people of the village. While 18 sharp shooters and 62 forest workers have also been deployed. These small shooters have been ordered to find and shoot the wolves.
Renu Singh, Chief Forest Conservator of Central Region, said that we have prepared a map of the area where there are more attacks on children by wolves and it has been divided into three sectors. Sugarcane cultivation is done extensively in this area. Especially in the Ramuapur area, wolves live more in the sugarcane crop. Now there is heavy flood in these areas and wolves are also not visible. Here wolves do not have any problem in winter and summer seasons. However, due to floods in monsoon, there is no place for wolves to live and this happens every year. While the same claim is being made by the Forest Department. The department said that after the flood in the area where wolves lived, the wolves got angry and started attacking humans. In the last two months, the wolf has killed ten people. Due to which people in this area are living in fear.
