With the aim of conducting fair elections, police tightened the noose on history-sheeters


Jaunpur, 04 May (HS). The district police is taking action against history-sheeters in the entire district with the aim of conducting clean and fair elections. The houses of active history-sheeters are being beaten and served by the police. People are also being made aware that such criminals will face the same consequences.

Giving information about this matter on Saturday, Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Shailendra Singh said that the police administration is committed to conducting safe and fair elections in the district. In view of the elections, Goonda Act action has been taken against more than 400 criminals in the district. Verification of 1579 history sheeters has been done in the entire district. In which the dead, those in jail, the disabled, the seriously ill, the missing and those living abroad were all identified. Apart from this, active history-sheeters present in the district were identified. Action has been taken against more than 100 active history-sheeters under the Goonda Act. They have also been arrested from the district and orders for weekly attendance at the police station have also been issued against some of them. .All such people are being beaten to death and people are being informed about them. Strict action is being taken by the police against such history-sheeters. Awareness is being created among the people that whoever commits crime will have the same consequences. Therefore, avoid committing crimes and wrong activities.
