With Ekadashi Puja Vidhan, Bastar Gocha Mahaparva will be celebrated for the coming year

Jagdalpur, July 16 (HS) Along with the installation of 22 idols of Lord Jagannath, Mata Subhadra and Balabhadra in the temple, the final worship of Devshayani Ekadashi will be performed on July 17 in the Bastar Gaoncha Mahaparva as per the scheduled program.

On Wednesday, 17th July, with the Devshayani Ekadashi Puja ritual, the Bastar Gocha Mahaparva will be concluded for the coming year. This information was given by the President of Bastar Gocha Mahaparva Committee, Vivek Pandey.

Ishwar Khanbari, President of 360 Ghar Aranyak Brahmin Samaj, said that Devshayani Ekadashi, also known as Padma Ekadashi and Hari Shayani Ekadashi, is an important fast among the followers of Hinduism. In the year 2024, Devshayani Ekadashi will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 17, on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. On this day Lord Hari Vishnu rests in the Kshir Sagar, and after four months, Lord Jagannath will be lifted with Devuthani Ekadashi Puja Vidhan on Devuthani Ekadashi date.

Reciting Chalisa on the day of Devshayani Ekadashi is considered very auspicious. Reciting Shri Vishnu Chalisa, Shri Hanuman Chalisa or Shri Ganesh Chalisa on the day of Devshayani Ekadashi is considered especially fruitful.
