Prayagraj, 03 March (HS). UP Secondary Teachers Association united meeting on Sunday in Deendayal Upadhyay Park, District President Mohd. Held under the chairmanship of Javed. In the meeting, State Patron Dr. Hari Prakash Yadav called upon all the teachers to participate in the dharna organized at the Directorate of Education Camp Office, Lucknow on March 13.
He said that in the last strike, the director had told the teachers of the state that they would solve their problems in the next six months, but it has been eight months and the problems of the teachers remain the same. Neither Citizen Charter nor the arrears could be ensured.
State Vice President Upendra Verma said that departmental officers are continuously flouting the policies of the Chief Minister and the teachers of the state are being exploited. Our organization is continuously fighting for teacher problems.
He alleged that recently an arbitrary list of surplus teachers was released in various schools of Prayagraj. In which no standard has been followed. The organization will oppose this at every level and during the strike on March 13, along with other demands, the union will prominently place the problem of surplus teachers before the Director.
State Income Expenditure Inspector Surendra Pratap Singh said that all the teachers should unite and fight unitedly for their problems and reach Lucknow in maximum numbers on March 13. This protest will be historic and there will be a struggle till the problems are resolved.
In the meeting, Mandal President Mithilesh Maurya said that five hundred teachers from Prayagraj Mandal will reach Lucknow for the strike. District Minister Devraj Singh conducted the operation. District executive members including Lakshmi Narayan Singh, Dinesh Yadav, Surendra Singh, Lalmani Yadav, Amit Yadav, Ashok Patel, Surendra Singh, Arun Kumar Singh, Ravindra Yadav, Arun Kumar, Prakash Jaiswal, Santosh Sharma, Vijay Yadav were present in the meeting.
