Islamabad: The Pakistan government, caught in an unusual economic crisis, is in a state of stomachache and head scratching. They have decided to eliminate the opposition. Its main opposition party is Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf-PTI. Preparations have been started to ban the said. PTI is the biggest and most powerful opposition in the country. The Shahbaz Sharif government knows very well that after its elimination, the small opposition can collapse like a pack of cards.

The Shahbaz government has now put Imran Khan in jail. He has been accused of inciting riots, taking bribes and earning huge amounts of money by selling expensive gifts received during foreign visits as President. Now preparations are underway to ban his party. The most serious allegation is made on that party that if that party is involved in anti-national activities then such action is inevitable.

Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Minister Ata Ullah Tarar said that the government has already decided that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should be banned.

Imran Khan formed this PTI in 1996. 22 years later, i.e. in 2018, the party came to power and Imran became the Prime Minister. But Nawaz Sharif's party formed an alliance with Pakistan Muslim League (M) and Asif-Ati-Zardari Party and formed an alliance with Benazir Bhutto's party PPP Shahwaz Sharif against them and gained power and defeated Imran Khan's party, Imran Khan was arrested in the Toshakha case 9 May 2022- Members of Imran Khan's party and the general public also rioted against this. The rioters also stormed the army's Rawalpindi headquarters. This incident was considered an anti-national act. Now the government will go to the Supreme Court and demand a ban on PTI.

Observers also say that Imran Khan is emphasizing on friendship and trade with India. Which the Shahbaz government does not like. So Imran is under pressure.

The Toshakha case is also wrong. If Imran Khan first bought the goods of Toshakhaana as per the rules himself (from Toshakhaana) and then sold the unnecessary goods, then where is treason in this? There is no anti-national activity in this, rather these are false allegations.

If members or supporters of a party make false allegations against their leader, riots will occur. Why is this called treason? Even though the military base was attacked, it is not treason but a protest against the government. The world is watching Pakistan's game.
