Recently a report in ‘Mid-Day’ claimed that Sajid Ali is looking for a ‘fresh face’ for his film and Sara Arjun has become his first choice. The report also said that the male lead (Ranjha) will be shot for Chocolate Boy. Rohit Saraf Negotiations are going on.

As soon as these news gained momentum, casting director Mukesh Chhabra took to X (formerly Twitter) and clarified:
“Sara Arjun has not signed any other film except ‘Dhurandhar 2’. We all are just waiting for the release of D2. There has been no meeting regarding casting, these are all mere rumours. I will give official information about the next project myself.”
At the same time, the film’s co-producer Ekta Kapoor also took a dig at these false news and said that the media now needs new fiction writers. There is no confirmation yet from the makers regarding the casting of Rohit Saraf.
