Along with this, by conspiring in Lucknow, the post-mortem of the dead body was done and the last rites were performed there. Here he informed the house that due to debt he would not come soon and prepared to run away with his lover, but Kanpur Commissionerate Police revealed the incident on Wednesday and arrested both of them.
ADCP South Ankita Sharma, while disclosing the incident on Wednesday, said that a person named Puneet Sharma had filed a complaint against his daughter-in-law Neha Sharma and her lover Ayush Sharma in Naubasta police station. In the complaint, he had expressed suspicion that the above two people had murdered his son Prateek Sharma. When the matter was investigated thoroughly, Puneet Sharma's suspicions proved true. Told that recently, Prateek Sharma had left for Ayodhya with his wife Neha and children in his car and stayed for the night in Lucknow. Meanwhile, wife Neha Sharma called her lover Ayush Sharma in a hotel in Lucknow. Both of them together poisoned Prateek Sharma and when his health deteriorated, he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. After this, as part of a conspiracy, the body was cremated after getting the post-mortem done in Lucknow itself and came to Kanpur. When Puneet Sharma reached her in-laws' house and asked daughter-in-law Neha Sharma for information about her son Prateek Sharma, she told that his car had broken down in Barabanki. Besides this, he is in debt and said that he will go to Kanpur after a few days. Here she was planning to run away with her lover Ayush but the police disclosed the matter and arrested both of them.
ADCP said that the police had to face a lot of difficulties in solving this mystery, but within a month the police team arrested both the lovers accused of the incident. Legal action is being taken against both of them and they are being sent to jail. ADCP said that the accused woman also has two children.
