Why was Sanjay Dutt suddenly out of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’? Director Ahmed Khan made a big revelation, took this step after shooting

Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is currently making waves at the box office. The presence of more than 30 stars in the film makes it a ‘mega entertainer’. However, fans were surprised when Sanjay Dutt, who was seen in the teaser of the film, was not seen in the final cut. Now the film’s director Ahmed Khan himself has come forward and revealed the mystery as to why Sanjay Dutt had to leave the film despite completing many parts of the shooting.

Debt problem became the reason for Sanjay Dutt’s exit

Director Ahmed Khan told in an interview that Sanjay Dutt was very excited about this script and wanted to work with his old friends like Akshay Kumar and Jackie Shroff. He had also completed some important parts of the shooting. But meanwhile Sanjay Dutt faced a big problem of ‘dates’. He suddenly had to go to America for his treatment. Ahmed Khan told that having so many actors together in the film is no less than a logistical challenge, and it was not possible to adjust the dates of so many stars simultaneously.

Sanjay Dutt helped himself, gave a chance to Sunil Shetty

Sanjay Dutt showed the identity of a true professional despite leaving the film midway. According to Ahmed Khan, Sanjay Dutt did not want the shooting of the film to be stopped or anyone to suffer loss because of him. He himself went ahead and suggested the names of Sunil Shetty and Jackie Shroff. Not only this, Sanjay Dutt called Sunil Shetty and convinced him to play this role. After this, Jackie Shroff was given the role which Sunil Shetty was earlier going to do. In this way, Sanjay Dutt’s exit did not stop the work of the film.

Stormy performance of the film at the box office

‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has a long list of veterans like Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi and Paresh Rawal along with Akshay Kumar. Despite mixed reactions to the trailer, the film has remained strong at the box office. If the figures are to be believed, the film has crossed the net collection of Rs 81 crore within 5 days of its release. It is believed that by the coming weekend, this film will easily touch the magical figure of Rs 100 crore, which proves the popularity of its stars.
