The anger over the attacks and violence on Hindus in Bangladesh has now come out on the streets of India. Thousands of people took to the streets in many big cities of the country on Tuesday and protested fiercely. This anger flared up when a Hindu youth named Dipu Chandra Das was beaten to death by a mob in Mymensingh area of Bangladesh and then his body was set on fire.

- Earlier, Bangladesh had also summoned the Indian Ambassador regarding the security of its embassies.
- In view of the tension, Bangladesh has temporarily stopped processing visas and other paperwork from its embassies in New Delhi and Agartala.
