Why do women get leucorrhoea?

Talking about pathological leucorrhoea, any kind of local vaginal infection which can be viral, bacterial or fungal can increase leucorrhoea. Cervical infection can also increase leukorrhea. Local inflammation such as cervical cancer or vaginal cancer can cause leucorrhoea.

This also happens due to hygiene, nowadays women use local vaginal wash and douching, hence this tendency increases.

If the color of the discharge is yellow or smelly, there is itching and burning in the vagina and there is excessive discharge, then you should contact a gynecologist.
