Responding to a post by Star Sports on Twitter, Pant wrote that I can definitely say that my lesson is not about money. In a video, Sunil Gavaskar was explaining why Delhi did not retain its captain.

Broken silence on separation from DC

Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant may attract a huge bid in the mega auction of IPL 2025. He recently confirmed that he has not left Delhi Capitals due to disagreements with the franchise over his repatriation fee. Pant wrote on Twitter after India batsman Sunil Gavaskar suggested that the wicketkeeper-batsman had left the franchise due to a disagreement over his retention fee, but Pant confirmed that this was not the case and corrected Gavaskar.

Through the video, Sunil Gavaskar was explaining why Delhi Capitals did not keep Pant. Meanwhile, Pant wrote on his video that one thing I can say for sure is that there has been no exchange of money for my lessons.
