I was very busy with my films in Madras. At that time Kukuji asked me for my dates for a month, I tried for a few days and told him that I could not do the film. Hearing this, Kukuji got angry but we continued working. So even when I had no work but was given dates, he would call me and I would get very angry.

Aruna further said, 'Sometimes he would make me sit for the whole day and then take a shot, so we would fight. I hated Kukuji and he too had a problem with me. After this everything gradually softened and we became good friends. Then he started adjusting my dates and fell in love with each other.
