The Lok Sabha elections have now reached the last and final stage. In the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held on June 1 for 57 seats in eight states. The equations changed from 2019 to 2024

The Akali Dal, which has been contesting elections with the BJP for 27 years in Punjab, is contesting elections separately this time. Not only this, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are also contesting separately in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party is in power in Punjab, due to which it is expected to increase its seats this time. At the same time, this time Congress is in power in Himachal, due to which it will not be easy for BJP to clean sweep. Political equations have changed from Bihar to UP, while in Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is facing the challenge of retaining her seats.

Voting also on 13 seats of UP

In the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is to be held on 1 June on 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The constituencies include Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Robertsganj. All these 13 seats are from Purvanchal Pradesh. In the 2019 elections, BJP managed to win 9 out of 13 seats, while two seats were won by its ally Apna Dal (S) and two seats by BSP. BSP won Ghazipur and Ghosi seats, while Apna Dal (S) won Mirzapur and Robertsganj seats.

This time, BJP is contesting on 10 out of 13 seats in the last phase and its allies are contesting on three seats. Apna Dal (S) is contesting on two seats while Om Prakash Rajbhar's party is contesting on one seat. On behalf of the alliance, SP is trying its luck on 9 seats and Congress on 4 seats. BSP is contesting on all 13 seats.
