International Yoga Day is being celebrated in the country and the world today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Srinagar. Apart from this, many Union Ministers are participating in yoga programs at different places. From army personnel to school children and even common citizens, everyone is celebrating Yoga Day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating Yoga Day in Srinagar. He was supposed to do yoga with 7000 people on the banks of Dal Lake here, but the program was disrupted due to bad weather. The program has been shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center. PM Modi's address took place here.
In his address, PM Modi said, ' International Yoga Day has completed a historic journey of 10 years. In 2014, I proposed International Yoga Day in the United Nations. This proposal of India was supported by 177 countries and this was a record in itself. Since then Yoga Day is continuously setting new records. Today the number of people doing yoga all over the world is constantly increasing, the attraction towards yoga is increasing.
