Cummins warned the team
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Cummins said after the match- We will try to leave this defeat behind soon, it will be good if we correct our mistakes before the second qualifier. We will go into the second qualifier match with good preparation. There are days in T20 cricket when things do not go well for you. We did not perform well with the bat which we wanted to do. Our performance in bowling was also average.
Later, there was improvement in the pitch
Pat Cummins said- It was necessary to select an additional batsman as an impact substitute on this wicket. I think Kolkata Knight Riders bowled well. There were some problems with the pitch in the beginning but later the pitch got better. We have played a lot of cricket and going to a new place (Chennai) will help. Therefore, we have to leave this match behind and move forward. Sunrisers Hyderabad team was all out for 159 runs. After this, Kolkata won the match by scoring 164 runs in 13.4 overs.
