Kharge said that 'Mahalakshmi Guarantee' has been announced as the first guarantee in the election manifesto of Congress. Under this guarantee, Congress will provide assistance of Rs 1 lakh per year to a woman from every poor family.
Women's rights in new recruitments
According to the second guarantee of Congress, 'full rights to half the population' have been guaranteed. In this, a promise has been made to give rights to women in more than half of the recruitments of the Central Government.
Double benefit to Anganwadi workers
In view of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress has also focused on the employees associated with Anganwadi. Congress has promised the third guarantee 'respect for power'. Kharge has announced guarantee of 'Shakti Samman' and doubled the central government's contribution to the monthly salaries of Anganwadi, Asha and midday meal workers.
We will appoint a paraligor in each panchayat
Kharge has also announced the fourth guarantee named 'Adhikar Maitri Hai'. Under this guarantee, Congress will try to make women aware. Besides, a paralegal will be appointed in every Panchayat who will protect the rights of women as well as help them.
We will double the number of Savitribai Phule hostels
Promising to focus on education, Congress has announced the fifth guarantee 'Savitribai Phule Chhatralay'. According to this announcement, Congress will build at least one hostel at district headquarters for women working in the Government of India. Congress has also promised to double the number of such hostels across the country.
Six resolutions of Congress are also in the interest of tribals
It is noteworthy that Congress President Kharge had said on Tuesday, 'Our party is committed to saving water, forests and land.' Apart from this, he announced six resolutions related to tribals, good governance, reforms, security, self-governance, self-respect and sub-plans and presented the details of the resolutions.
