The division of departments has been done in the Modi 3.0 government led by Narendra Modi. PM Modi will hold many important ministries along with the post of Prime Minister. He will be in charge of the Ministry of Personnel, Atomic Energy, Space and all major policy issues. Apart from this, other departments which are not allocated to any other minister will also be in the charge of PM Modi. In Modi 3.0, the departments of most of the major cabinet ministers have been kept unchanged. There has been no tampering with the top 4 portfolios.

Union Cabinet 2024: Ministers who did not change departments
– Rajnath Singh became the Defense Minister in the third term of the Modi government. He had the same ministry last time also.
– Amit Shah has also been retained in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Cooperation. He was handling the responsibility of this ministry in the previous government as well.
– Nitin Gadkari will retain the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
-Nirmala Sitharaman had the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs in the previous government and this time also she has been given the same responsibility.
– S. Jaishankar was the Foreign Minister in the previous Modi government and this time too he has been given the Ministry of External Affairs.
-Piyush Goyal was the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles in the previous Modi government. This time again he has got the responsibility of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
– Dharmendra Pradhan has served as the Education Minister and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and this time too the Education Ministry has been kept unchanged.
– Sarbananda Sonowal was the Minister of Ports, Waterways and AYUSH in the previous Modi government. This time also, in his third term, he has been retained in the Ministry of Ports, Transport and Waterways.
– Virendra Kumar, who was the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment in the previous Modi government, has also got the same ministry this time.
– Ashwini Vaishnav was the Railway and IT Minister in the previous Modi government. This time too, apart from the Railway and IT Minister, he has also got the charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The first decision of Modi 3.0 cabinet

It has been revealed that three crore new houses will be built under PM Awas Yojana. Earlier 4.21 crore houses have been built. The first meeting of PM Modi's cabinet was held on Monday.
