Mumbai Crime Branch has started the process of extradition of wanted gangster Anmol Bishnoi in several cases including firing at Salman Khan's house. Anmol Bishnoi is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in Sabarmati jail. Anmol Bishnoi is currently hiding in America. However, now Mumbai Police is going to tighten its grip on Bishnoi gang. Mumbai Crime Branch has made preparations to bring Anmol Bishnoi back to India. The Crime Branch Police has appealed to the American Court to extradite Anmol Bishnoi to India.
Was he involved in the firing at Salman Khan's house?
Let us tell you that Anmol Bishnoi was behind the firing at Salman Khan's house on the morning of 14th April. This incident shook the entire Mumbai. Since then Mumbai Police is searching for Anmol Bishnoi. According to media reports, America has helped India in this matter. American agencies have described India as a precious destination. In such a situation, the Crime Branch has sought permission from the American Court to arrest Anmol.
Importantly, Anmol Bishnoi's name was added to the most wanted list of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) last week. Apart from this, a reward of Rs 10 lakh was also announced for the person giving information about this. Mumbai Police sources have said that American officials have confirmed Anmol Bishnoi's presence in the US to Indian authorities.
Sidhu was also wanted in the Moojwala murder case
Anmol Bishnoi has more than 17 cases against him and his name is one of the wanted people in the Salman Khan firing case along with Lawrence Bishnoi and gangster Goldie Brar. Anmol Bishnoi is also a wanted accused in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moojwala murder case and according to police officials, he had supplied the weapons used to kill Moojwala.
The file will be sent to the center
An imported pistol was used in the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui on October 13. This is also suspected to be supplied by Anmol Bishnoi. Sources also said that Anmol Bishnoi was in touch with one of the wanted accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case and may have been involved in the murder conspiracy. The Mumbai Crime Branch has also informed the Mumbai Sessions Court and the extradition file will be sent to the Center for further processing.
How will Anmol Bishnoi be arrested?
According to a senior police officer, a case has been registered against Anmol Bishnoi under MCOCA i.e. Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act. The court has also declared a non-bailable warrant against him. Apart from this, Red Corner Notice has also been issued against Anmol Bishnoi. Police say that along with the warrant, the police also need the permission of the American court, only then we can arrest Anmol Bishnoi. The Special MCOCA Court gave its permission on 16 October. After receiving some important documents, we will request the Central Government to take action in this matter.
