The terrorists also returned through the same hilly route from where they came to the school.

The terrorists fled from three sides

The militants who came from the jungle first surrounded the school from all sides and then started indiscriminate firing on the soldiers present inside. After the firing, the terrorists escaped through three routes. However, after the terrorists fled, the army continued firing for an hour. But the terrorists escaped from there. It is clear that the local people must have helped the terrorists. The terrorists had all the information from both the gates of the school to the escape route.

The attack took place at 2 am

Let us tell you that terrorists entered this school in Doda at 2 o'clock in the night. Like the Uri attack, the terrorists entered the school with the intention of targeting the sleeping soldiers. But the soldiers were fully alert. They immediately took charge. The clash between the soldiers and the army continued till around 4:30 in the evening. The security forces continued firing for the next few hours. But the terrorists escaped from the spot. Bullet marks can be seen on the walls and doors of the school.

In this attack, 4 army personnel and 1 police personnel were martyred.
