Ranchi, September 20 (HS). The petition filed for rehabilitation of footpath shopkeepers of Morhabadi was heard in Jharkhand High Court on Friday. During the hearing, the court asked the Municipal Corporation what has been done so far for rehabilitation of footpath shopkeepers, on which the Municipal Corporation told the court that the place where the shopkeepers were to be settled is occupied by Tana Bhagats.
On this, the court wanted to know what the corporation has done so far to remove those who are in possession. The court has sought a reply from the Municipal Corporation on these points by October 18. The case was heard in the court of Justice Anubha Rawat of the High Court. Advocate Anurag Kashyap argued on behalf of the petitioners.
