Officials said that she approached the police to lodge a complaint only after she recovered from the shock of the alleged gang rape and stabilized. According to the police, a case has been registered against four accused at Tibba Road police station. The victim has said in her complaint that her brother and the daughter of the main accused Ravinder had gone somewhere in April this year.

When they were not found there, the accused threatened the victim and gang-raped her to take revenge.
