When car was not received in dowry, mother-in-law and mother-in-law separated husband and wife

Ramgarh, 29 February (HS). A new twist has come in the case of a woman committing suicide by hanging herself in Adarsh ​​Nagar near the railway station of Ramgarh city. Police have registered case number 44/24 in this case under sections 498 (A), 304 (B), 34.

In the FIR lodged by Sita Devi, mother of deceased Rekha Kumari at Ramgarh police station, she has revealed such things which will shock everyone. In Shivvachan Pathak's family, the daughter-in-law was being harassed for dowry. Sita Devi has said that they were not able to give a car as dowry, due to which her daughter was being harassed for the last 8 months. He has also said that mother-in-law Shakuntala Devi and Gotani Neetu Devi had separated the husband and wife and both of them were made to sleep in separate rooms.

Sita Devi told the police that her daughter was married to Vivek Pathak on June 1, 2023. Then these people had given Rs 10 lakh in cash, jewelery worth Rs 5 lakh and other items as dowry. But his family was not happy with all that. Often mother-in-law and wife did not allow their daughter to wear vermilion. He was often taunted by father-in-law Shiv Vachan Pathak and brother-in-law Pappu Pathak. Husband Vivek Pathak also used to misbehave with Rekha regarding these things.

The deceased's brother Pawan Kumar has also alleged that even on the day his sister died, the family members did not give him any information directly. He received the news of death from relatives. When they reached Ramgarh, they found that the dead body had also been tampered with.
