When a woman died during treatment, her family members created a ruckus by keeping her body

Churu, June 3 (HS). When a woman died during treatment in Sadulpur of the district, the family members created a ruckus by placing the body in front of the hospital. The family members have demanded action against the doctor. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and tried to calm the situation by convincing the family members.

Pawan Kumar, a resident of Ward 28, said that his wife Sunita (28) was admitted to the Mehta Hospital in Sadulpur on April 28 after she complained of stomach pain. The doctor operated on her uterus, four days after which she started bleeding in her urine, so a urinary catheter was inserted. When she was checked again at the hospital four to five days ago, the urinary catheter was removed. After which her condition started deteriorating, so she was admitted to a private hospital in Hisar, where she died on Sunday night during treatment. It is alleged that during the operation the doctor made a cut in the urinary bladder, which caused the woman's death. Seeing the matter escalating, the police and the SDM reached the spot and counselled the people.

Dozens of people including the woman's family protested by placing the body at the main gate of the hospital. The family demanded action against the doctor and financial help of Rs 50 lakh. No agreement has been reached on this yet. The hospital in-charge Rakesh says that the death happened in Hisar, the patient was discharged from here after proper treatment. The operation was done a month ago, the allegations are false.
