But as soon as you turn on this new feature, WhatsApp will automatically set all the necessary settings for your privacy to the most secure mode.

As soon as you turn it on, these changes will happen in your WhatsApp:

• ‘No entry’ of unknown files: Often hackers try to hack your phone by sending photos or video files containing viruses. As soon as this feature is activated, downloading of media files (photos, videos, documents) coming from any unknown number will automatically stop.
• IP address will remain hidden: When you make a call on WhatsApp, your IP address may be leaked, allowing your location to be traced. This feature will connect your call to WhatsApp’s secure servers, keeping your IP address completely confidential.
• Avoid dangerous links: Now you will not have to think before clicking on any unknown link. This setting will stop showing the preview of the links coming in the chat, so that you will not accidentally visit any fake or dangerous website.
• Your profile will be more private: As soon as you turn it on, only those people who are saved in your contact list will be able to see your profile photo, status and last seen.
• Two-Step Verification turns on automatically: This is the strongest lock of your account. As soon as this feature is turned on, two-step verification will be automatically activated, so that no other person will be able to log in to your account.
