The global outage of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp started late on Wednesday night at around 11.30 pm. During this time, users faced problems logging into the app and sending and receiving messages. Users shared the issue on microblogging platform X when WhatsApp services crashed. Due to the outage, WhatsApp users also faced problems linking their app to other devices.

Meta also tweeted about the global outage on all three platforms simultaneously. In this the company wrote that we know that due to some technical problems, some users are having trouble accessing the apps. The company also clarified that they are trying to fix it as soon as possible. Meta has also apologized to its users for this matter.
