How to activate WhatsApp banking service

Whatever number you have registered with SBI, write 'WAREG ACCOUNT NUMBER' from that number and send it to +917208933148. For example, if your account number is 123456789, you would send WAREG 123456789 as SMS to +917208933148. After registration, a message will come on your mobile. Once the registration is confirmed via message, send 'Hi' to 9022690226 from your WhatsApp number. After this, 3 options will be sent by the bank on WhatsApp – Get Balance, Get Mini Statement and other services. You can choose the option according to your need.

Apart from this, another way is that you go to this link https://sbi.co.in/hi/web/personal-banking/digital/whatsapp-banking and scan the QR with your mobile number also. After this send 'Hi' to +919022690226 and follow the instructions given by the chat-bot.
