Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Akshay Bam breaks silence: After Surat, Congress has played a bet on Indore seat! The Congress candidate has withdrawn his nomination. Congress candidate from Indore Lok Sabha seat, Akshay Kanti Bam, was dramatically accused of taking money while withdrawing the nomination form. Now Akshay Bam has reacted regarding the deal with BJP, he has rejected all these allegations and said that the watch I am wearing is worth Rs 15 lakh, so what will anyone offer me?
Denied the allegation of joining BJP under any deal
Due to the action taken by Akshay Bam on April 29, BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani has been elected unopposed from Indore Lok Sabha seat. Bam joined BJP the same day. Along with this, he has denied the allegation of joining BJP under any deal.
Bam has declared assets worth Rs 55.28 crore in his affidavit. This also includes his wrist watch worth Rs 14.05 lakh. He rejected Congress's allegation that the saffron camp is directly feeding its candidates because it is afraid of elections.
In the last elections, we had asked for Indore-4 assembly seat from Congress. This seat is considered to be one of the most difficult seats for Congress. He said that how can a candidate who is eager to contest elections from such a difficult seat be afraid of defeat?
Five days before the return, Bam was charged by the court with attempted murder.
The interesting thing here is that five days before Bam withdrew his nomination papers, an Indore court had imposed Section 307 on him in the 2007 land dispute case. Section 307 deals with attempt to murder. His father and other people were also included in this. The court ordered Bam and others to appear on May 10.
