News India Live, Digital Desk : Direction Vastu : Has it ever happened to you that you set out on a trip with great enthusiasm, but the car broke down on the way, or the work for which you had gone got spoiled? We often leave it as a “game of luck”. But our elders and astrology say that behind this ‘Disha Shool’ May have a hand in it.
This word may sound a bit heavy, but its meaning is very simple. This means that one should avoid traveling in a particular direction on a particular day, because there may be “shuls” or thorns (obstacles) in that direction.
Let us understand in very simple language that on which day and in which direction you should avoid going so that your journey remains pleasant.
Keep this list in mind (Disha Shool Chart)
- Monday & Saturday:
in these two days East One should not travel in that direction. If it is not very important, then postpone it, otherwise it may cause unnecessary mental tension. - Sunday & Friday:
First day of the week and weekend fun, but be careful! in these days West Avoid going towards the direction. This is not considered auspicious. - Tuesday & Wednesday:
if you North If you are planning to go to Disha, then do not choose Tuesday and Wednesday. It is said that on this day there is ‘Disha Shool’ in the North. - Thursday:
on thursday South Disha’s journey is considered prohibited. South direction is considered to be the direction of Yama, hence going out in this direction on Thursday can spoil the work.
But what to do if it is very important to go? (jugaad and solution)
In today’s busy life, we cannot always leave the house after seeing the auspicious time. Have to go to office, business or medical emergency. ‘Cuts’ or remedies for this are also mentioned in the scriptures:
- monday: Leave the house after looking in the mirror.
- Tuesday: Eat some jaggery and drink water.
- Wednesday: Leave after eating coriander or sesame seeds.
- Thursday: Start the journey by eating curd and cumin.
- Friday: Consume barley or rye.
- Saturday: Leave after eating a small piece of ginger or urad dal.
- sunday: It is considered auspicious to leave after eating paan or ghee.
Our suggestion:
These rules were not made to scare, but to keep us disciplined and safe. Believe it or not, but what is the harm in leaving the house with the blessings of elders and with sweets in your mouth? Next time while packing your bag, keep the direction in mind!
