Lahore: Recently democratic elections were held in Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif's minority will become the prime minister and Nawaz Sharif's daughter will become the chief minister of Pakistan's Punjab province amid allegations of massive fraud during the elections and counting of votes. In this way Maryam will become the first woman Chief Minister of Pakistan. But very few people would know that Maryam has family relations with the famous pioneer of yesteryear, Gama Pehalwan.

Maryam Nawaz's mother Kulsoom Nawaz was the daughter-in-law of Gama Pehalwan. If seen in this way, Gama becomes the great grandfather (great grandfather) of wrestler Maryam Nawaz. Kulsoom was elected MP in 2017 but she had to immediately go to London for treatment. They could not swear.

Kulsoom was born in 1950 to Mohammad Hafeez Butt, a businessman, and his wife Razia Begum. He also had two sisters and two brothers. His father was originally a Kashmiri but later settled in Lahore. While his mother Razia Begum was born into a famous pioneer family that moved to Lahore in 1947.

Kulsoom did post-graduation in Urdu literature from Women's Foreman Christian College, Lahore. In 1971, she married Nawaz Sharif, from an industrialist family. Nawaz became the Prime Minister of Pakistan three times (1990–93, 1997–99 (during the Kashmir War), and 2013–2017).
