This miraculous temple of Lord Shiva based on the earth element is located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Spread over an area of 23 acres, this temple of Lord Shiva is one of the 10 largest temples in the country. It is believed that just by seeing this Shivling installed under a mango tree, all the troubles and worries of the Shiva devotee go away. There is a tradition of sprinkling water on Ekambarnath Shivling instead of doing Jalabhishek.
Jambukeshwara Temple (Water Element)
The Jambukeshwar Temple in Tiruchirapalli is considered a symbol of the water element. This temple of Lord Bholenath is also built in a very large area of about 18 acres. The revered Shiva Lingam of the temple is worshiped by the local people as Appu Lingam, which means water lingam. It is believed that once in the temple, Lord Mahadev was worshiped by taking out the Shiva Lingam from the water.

Kalahastheeswara Temple (Air Element)
This temple of Lord Shiva based on the element of air is located in Kala Hasti area of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Shiva devotees call this temple of Lord Shiva built on a high hill as the Kailash of the South. The height of the Shiv Linga installed inside the Kalahasteshwara temple is about four feet. This Shiv Linga is also known as Vayu Linga or Karpoor Linga. Neither water is offered on this Shivling nor is it touched.
Nataraja Temple (Celestial Element)
